IISER Kolkata hostel block has three buildings with accommodation capacity of 400 students namely the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Hall, the Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar Hall and the Nivedita Hall. The hostel rooms are well-equipped with common rooms that provides ample scope for recreational activities.

IISER Kolkata has the Revised Contributory Medical Scheme (CMS) for its students and staff in order to provide proper medical facilities. It has a hi-tech Computer centre for the students and research scholars, which is well equipped with around fifty desktops.

Besides these, there is a ‘Mind Care and Wellness Centre’ provided inside the campus with skilled psychotherapists, Clinical Psychologists and Counsellors who are dedicated to helping the students to find a resolution for their life’s difficulties.The campus provides all sorts of modern sports facilities also for the all-round development of the students.
