IIM Shillong Admission Criteria 2024

The admission process for IIM Shillong’s PGPEx program in 2024 is scheduled to commence on December 15, 2023, for Round 2, with the application deadline set for January 30, 2024. Concurrently, IIM Shillong course admissions for the PGPWE program have already begun for Round 1, and the application deadline is December 03, 2023. For the PhD and PhD for Working Professionals programs at IIM Shillong in 2024, applications are currently being accepted, with the deadline for PhD set for February 03, 2024, and for PhD Working Professionals, it is March 20, 2024.

IIM Shillong course admissions for the MBA program in 2024 is now open. IIM Shillong considers CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE scores as part of the admission process, followed by a group discussion or personal interview. The CAT cutoff for IIM Shillong is set at 90 percentile overall and 75 percentile for all sections.

IIM Shillong PGP Selection Criteria: Shortlisting for GD & PI 

Phase 1 of the selection process includes candidates who have obtained a percentile score above the specified minimum cut-off in each section of the CAT examination. The sectional cut-off for the CAT examination at IIM Shillong is provided in the table below:

Candidates who have successfully cleared the minimum cut-off in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) will be eligible for final selection. The final merit list will be compiled taking into account various factors such as the PI score, academic achievements, overall CAT performance, professional experience, and gender diversity.

Candidates must have a minimum CAT percentile of 50 or a minimum GMAT score of 500 to be eligible to apply for the PGPEx program.

The candidates have the option to complete the application form, which can be found on the official website of IIM Shillong. The application process for admission in 2023 is currently closed. However, for PGPEx 2024 admission, the application window is expected to open in October 2023.

IIM Shillong Course Admissions for PhD/ PhD Working Professional 2024

IIM Shillong is offering IIM Shillong course admissions for PhD and PhD Working Professional programs in 2024. The admission process includes the following stages:
