Scholarships

IIM Rohtak Scholarships 2026

IIM Rohtak provides limited financial assistance to support academically meritorious and financially deserving students. The institute offers the following scholarship and fellowship schemes:

Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship

The Merit-cum-Means Scholarship is available to students enrolled in the PGP (MBA) programme during their first and second years. Selection is based on a combination of academic performance and family income.

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • Minimum CGPA of 6.5 with a grade not lower than C+

    • Annual family income not exceeding ₹2 lakh

  • Number of Awards:

    • 20 students are selected each academic year for the MCM scholarship

SC/ST Need-Based Scholarship

The SC/ST Need-Based Scholarship is sponsored by the Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD), Government of India. It is awarded to eligible SC/ST students based on family income and may cover up to 100% of the tuition fee, subject to government norms.

Fellowships for Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM)

Students admitted to the Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) receive financial support in the form of fellowships and grants, as detailed below:

Fellowship Component Amount
Fellowship ₹45,000 per month for the first two years and ₹50,000 per month after completion of the second year
Merit Fellowship (subject to satisfactory performance) ₹10,000 per month in the second year and ₹15,000 per month in the third and fourth years
Contingency Grant ₹2.5 lakh, distributed over four years

These scholarships and fellowships aim to reduce financial barriers and enable students to focus fully on their academic and research pursuits at IIM Rohtak.
