Goa Institute Of Management Cutoff 2022

Goa Institute of Management offers MBA program Admissions on the basis of CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT exam score. The college releases the minimum cutoff required for admission to the MBA courses. The CAT cutoff for admission to GIM Goa remains around 90 percentile. However, the Entrance exam cutoff is not the only criteria for PGDM Admission, the college also considers past Academic Records, Work Experience, Face to Face Evaluation, and Profile Assessment Index.

Goa Institute of Management releases a list of candidates satisfying the Entrance Exam cutoff. Such candidates need to appear for GIM Goa personal Assessment in two stages i.e. Achiever’s Round and Regular Round. Candidates qualifying achiever’s round are offered spot admission, whereas for candidates appearing in the regular round a merit list is prepared. The final Admission offer is released as per the merit list. 

Goa Institute of Management Cutoff Highlights

  • Goa Institute of Management invites Academic toppers from a selected institution to the Achievers round as ELITE applications. Such candidates can appear for the interview process, after verifying their eligibility (alma mater and status as topper). 
  • Candidates for PGDM (BDA) will need to take an online aptitude test called GAAT (GIM Analytics Aptitude Test).
  • For PGDM Admission, Goa Institute of Management offers a relaxation of 15 points on the overall cutoff. However, no further relaxation is provided in the other components of the PGDM Admission process. 
  • For Admission to the GIM Goa PGDM HCM program, candidates do not need to satisfy the minimum cutoff, admission is based on the overall profile of the candidate.

Goa Institute of Management PGDM Admission 2022 Criteria:

For PGDM, a select group of candidates shall be invited to Goa for Achiever’s Round of the interview process in January 2022. Regular Round interviews will be held in early March 2022.

Stage 1A: Shortlisting For Achiever’s Round

  • Interviews shall be held only in Goa and shortlisted candidates shall be eligible to apply for scholarships.
  • Candidates not shortlisted for Achiever’s Round will not be eligible for scholarships. If a candidate shortlisted for Achiever’s Round decides to opt out of Achiever’s Round and attends Regular Round, the candidate will not be eligible for scholarship.
  • Shortlisting shall be based on curricular, extracurricular, and career achievements and profile -qualification, past academic performance, and work experience of the candidates.
  • The shortlist shall be drawn without XAT, CAT, GMAT score to facilitate interview process in January 2022. Scores shall be incorporated later on.

Stage 1B. Shortlisting For Regular Round

Shortlisting for PGDM for Regular Round shall be based on XAT, CAT, GMAT, or CMAT score of candidates.

The weightages for various components for both rounds remain the same.

Stage II: Final Selection

  • Final Interview Round 2021 at GIM will be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai (All centres are subject to availability)
  • Final Admission offer at GIM Goa will be based on entrance exam scores, past academic performance, objective assessment, work experience, face to face evaluation among other parameters.
  • Result of the selected candidates shall be released in April 2022
