Scholarship Opportunities for Academic Year 2025–26

Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth (CVV) offers a variety of scholarships to support meritorious and deserving students aspiring to pursue academic programmes at the university. For more information on the application process, please contact the Office of Admissions.

CSR – Utthistha Bharata Scholarship Sponsors

Application Process:

• Submit the application form along with relevant supporting documents as per the scholarship criteria.

• A specially designated committee will verify the documents for speedy processing.

• Selected candidates will receive a Scholarship Offer.

• To confirm the scholarship, candidates must complete the Admission Enrolment Process (including balance tuition fee payment) within two days of receiving the offer.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Scholarships apply only to regular-mode programmes.

2. Available exclusively for Indian nationals.

3. Awards are based on tuition fees and granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to eligibility.

4. Scholarships are disbursed after payment of Admission Fees and will be adjusted against the remaining Tuition Fees.

5. Decisions made by the Scholarship Committee are final.

Other Financial Assistance Options

1. Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships 2025–26

• Eligibility:

  • First-year UG students at recognised Indian institutions

  • Minimum 60% in Class 12

  • Annual family income ≤ ₹15,00,000 (priority to ≤ ₹2,50,000)

  • Indian citizens only

  • Mandatory aptitude test

• Award: Up to ₹2,00,000 for the duration of the degree

2. SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2025

• Eligibility:

  • Students from Class 6–12, UG & PG students from top 100 NIRF institutes, IITs, IIMs

  • Minimum 75% in the previous academic year

  • Family income:

    • Up to ₹3 lakh for Class 6–12

    • Up to ₹6 lakh for UG/PG students

• Awards:

  • Class 6–12: ₹15,000

  • UG: Up to ₹50,000

  • PG: Up to ₹70,000

  • UG (IITs): Up to ₹2,00,000

  • MBA (IIMs): Up to ₹7,50,000

3. Alstom India Scholarship 2025–26

• Eligibility:

  • Students enrolled in any year of STEM UG courses

  • Minimum 60% marks

  • Annual family income ≤ ₹6,00,000

  • Open to residents of Chennai, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Madhepura, Sri City, or Vadodara

• Award: One-time grant of up to ₹75,000

4. Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program 2025–26

• Eligibility:

  • Open to meritorious girls, differently-abled girls, LGBTQ+ students, Covid-affected students, single parents/orphans

  • Must have secured admission to B.Tech., B.E., B.Arch., B.Com., B.B.A., or B.Sc.

  • Class 12 pass in 2023–24

  • General: ≥70% in Classes 10 & 12

  • Special Category*: ≥60% (exceptions may apply)

  • Annual family income ≤ ₹5,00,000

  • Preference to special category students

• Awards:

  • General: 60% of fees, up to ₹60,000/year

  • Special category: 80% of fees, up to ₹1,00,000/year

CVV assists students with bank loan applications. Documents from the university will be processed within three working days. Loan options available from:

CVV is dedicated to fostering academic excellence through tuition fee waivers for high-performing students:

First-Year Tuition Fee Discounts

Note:

• All discounts are applicable to tuition fees only and limited to the first academic year.

• Discounts will be processed after verification of academic records.

Scholarships from 2nd Year Onwards (UG Students Only)

To qualify:

• Minimum 8.0 CGPA in 1st year

• Minimum 75% attendance

• No record of disciplinary issues

Non-fulfillment of these conditions will result in disqualification from the scholarship.

All scholarships and discounts are subject to periodic review and approval by the university administration.
