Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV), located in Kochi, is a Deemed-to-be-University that was established in 2017 to commemorate the centenary year of Swami Chinmayananda, the revered founder of Chinmaya Mission and a renowned Vedantic master. The university, headquartered at Chinmaya International Foundation in Ernakulam, Kerala, India, is dedicated to preserving Indian cultural heritage and knowledge traditions through higher education.

Expanding on their rich legacy of operating over a hundred Chinmaya Vidyalayas—esteemed primary and secondary schools and colleges across India—for more than fifty years, Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth was launched in 2017 as a university with a distinctive approach. The university believes that education should nurture individuals who not only achieve personal goals but also serve society.
Guided by the principles of Purity, Spirituality, Practicality, and Innovation, CVV's primary mission is to blend India's ancient wisdom with contemporary knowledge fields. It aims to innovate where necessary while incorporating the merits of past traditions. CVV offers a diverse range of undergraduate courses, including B.Com, B.Sc, BA, and BBA, as well as postgraduate programs such as MA and M.Sc. Additionally, the university provides integrated courses like BA+B.ED and B.Sc+B.Ed, along with a PhD program in various disciplines. Admission to the PhD programs involves clearing the Ph.D. Admissions Test (PAT), followed by an interview where candidates present their research proposals. For admission to all UG programs, CVV accepts CUET scores. The fee structure at CVV ranges from INR 1 Lakhs to 3 Lakhs, depending on the program.
The institute has been granted approval by AICTE to commence B. Tech. and MBA programs.
