General Cut-off Trends

  • CAT / XAT / GMAT: Typically, admissions to BIMTECH’s flagship PGDM require 75 percentile or higher for the General category.

  • Specialisations: PGDM-IB admits candidates with slightly lower cut-offs (~67–68), while PGDM-IBM and PGDM-RM have historically considered percentile scores around 60.

  • CMAT: You generally need to be in the 90–95 percentile range for flagship PGDM, while other specialisations accept 70–90 percentile.

  • MAT: Accepted only for IBM and RM programs, with cut-offs in the 70–80 percentile bracket.

Summary

  • Aim for 75+ percentile in CAT/XAT/GMAT to be competitive for flagship PGDM.

  • If applying for PGDM-IB, a 67–68 percentile may be sufficient.
