The expansive and tranquil Brahmasthanam Temple Complex located in Edappally, Kochi, adjacent to NH-17, serves as the home to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi, which is steadily gaining recognition and prominence. Established by the renowned humanitarian, Sadguru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, the university offers academic education deeply rooted in Indian cultural heritage. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a multi-campus, multi-disciplinary research university acclaimed as one of the top research institutions in India, holding an “A++” rating certified by NAAC.
Within the premises, there are three primary schools authorised by the UGC and the Ministry of Human Resource Development of India:
