Cutoff requirements for 950–1000 B-Schools are based on CMAT results. Many top MBA programmes accept CMAT scores, including K J Somaiya, JBIMS, PUMBA, IFMR, and N L Dalmiya. 

Each institution sets its own cutoff, and candidates are qualified for subsequent rounds based on this cutoff.
