UPSC NDA 2 Admit Card 2019

There are lakhs of people across India aspiring to join the all India civil services. The channel for doing so is the examinations, tests and interviews conducted by the Union Public Service Commission or UPSC. UPSC has been established as India’s highly respected and esteemed body, tasked with the responsibility of carrying out recruitment into group A and group B posts within the Indian government.

The examinations conducted by UPSC are national level exams and candidates have to face stiff competition to succeed in them.

Among the several examinations conducted by the UPSC, an important exam to be conducted in 2019 is that of National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination – II (NDA). The exam is scheduled to take place on 17th November, 2019. However there has not been any official announcement pertaining to the release of the admit card for this exam.

However, as informed on the official website, the admit card for UPSC NDA 2 examination will be released three weeks prior to the commencement of the examination. Candidates will be informed about the exact date of admit card release only through the notification by UPSC. With the exam being held on 17th November, it can expected that the admit card will be released by UPSC by the third week of October, 2019.

Candidates will be able to download their admit care for UPSC NDA 2 examination only from the official website of UPSC, that is, https://upsc.gov.in or https://upsconline.nic.in The admit card downloaded from the website must be kept securely as it is a very important document for appearing for the examination. Without their admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exams. It must be noted that candidates have to download the admit card as it will not be provided to the candidates through any other means.

In order to download their admit card, candidates are advised to keep a few details ready. These include the registration ID and the date of birth, or the roll number or the candidate’s father’s name. By filling in these credentials, candidates will be able to access their admit card.

The UPSC NDA 2 examination carries a total of 900 marks. Candidates are required to prepare objective questions from two main disciplines – Mathematics and General Ability. The examination also comprises of negative marking of one-third marks, that is 0.33 marks, for every wrong answer. The candidates selected under these exams will get the opportunity for admissions into the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy.

This will be the 144th course of the National Defence Academy and 106th course of Indian Naval Academy. These courses will be beginning in the next year, that is from 2nd July, 2020.
