The Union Public Service Commission has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the Civil Services Main Exam 2019 on 1st August 2019. The UPSC Mains DAF will be available on the official website of UPSC at https://upsc.gov.in/ from 1st August till 16th August 2019. The UPSC Mains exam will be conducted across different shifts on 20th, 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th September.

The candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam are now required to appear in the UPSC CSE Mains Examination. More than 11,000 candidates have been shortlisted for the main examination. The qualified candidates are required to submit the online DAF with the scanned documents/certificates with respect to DOB, qualification, category along with required examination fee.

How to download DAF?

  • Go to the website of UPSC at https://upsconline.nic.in/daf/daf_csm_2019/login.php.
  • Click on the link under the ‘What’s New’ section ‘DAF: Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2019’.
  • Fill in the detailed application form and submit it.
  • Take a print out for future reference.

Admit card for Mains exam

Candidates who fail to fill in the DAF would not be able to appear for Mains examination. The Commission is going to release UPSC CSE Admit Card 2019 after the submission of the DAF. The admit card of the Mains exam will be available on the official website, once it releases.

The UPSC Main examination will be conducted in 24 centres across the nation – Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Shimla, Ranchi, Shillong, Vijayawada and Thiruvananthapuram.
