SRMJEEE is an entrance exam conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology for admission in B.Tech. courses in its various branches. The SRMJEEE result was announced by SRM University on May 1, 2018. The rank card was also published online, and candidates could check their marks. The scorecard includes the details including section-wise marks, total marks and rank. The SRM University then prepares a merit list for shortlisting candidates for counselling and admission process.

SRM University

SRM University, which is now known as SRM Institute of Science and technology conducts an online based test for candidates to take admission in B.Tech. courses in its various campuses. The candidates shortlisted in the merit list have to report for the counselling process and are allotted seats in various campuses or participating institutes of SRMJEEE. The names of the various SRM participating institutes are:

SRMJEEE 2018 Result

The result of SRMJEEE was declared on May 1, 2018, and can be checked by the candidates via online mode on the official website. Candidates were supposed to take a printout of the result for further admission process.

The details mentioned in the score car 2018 are:

  • Photograph of the Candidate

  • Section-wise marks
  • Total Marks

To download the rank card or score card, the candidate has to login using application number and date of birth.

SRMJEEE Cut off 2018

The cut-off has been released for various participating institutes and courses after the declaration of result. The cut-off determines which candidates are eligible to take admission in various undergraduate courses of the university.

SRMJEEE Counselling 2018

The counselling for SRMJEEE 2018 was conducted in two rounds. The two modes of conducting counselling process were online and offline (on campus). The offline or on-campus counselling was held from 7th to 17th May 2018. The online counselling was held in the fourth week of May 2018 for respective campuses. The candidates who qualified the exam and appeared in the merit list were eligible to take admission in various courses and participating institutes.

Only 35,000 SRMJEEE rank holders are eligible to take admission provided they score 60 per cent marks in board examination.

The notification of second counselling has been released in the online mode. The online counselling facilitates those who missed the offline or on-campus counselling at various venues between 7th to 17th May 2018. Through online mode, the candidates could choose the branch or specialization across various campuses based on the availability of seats in respective institutes. The candidates are required to upload a full mark sheet of board examination along with payment of tuition fees. Only after that, the allotment of seat in a particular institute is done.

The following documents are mandatory for a candidate to carry for the counselling process:

  • SRMJEEE counselling call letter
  • Class 10th Mark sheet
  • Rank card
  • SRMJEEE admit card
  • Class 12th or equivalent mark sheet
  • Demand draft of the amount to be paid as tuition fees in favour of SRMIST payable at Chennai
  • ID proof (PAN, Aadhar Card, Passport)- Candidates are requested to bring both original and photocopy. Original will be returned to the candidate.
  • Cancelled cheque leaf with the name of the candidate/parent/Grandparent printed
  • Receipt of payment made thought online mode or demand draft
  • Documents regarding caste or community proof (if any)

The admission is purely based on the merit list. The candidates can download their counselling letter after confirming their name in the merit list. The candidates will not be allowed to take admission without the above-mentioned documents.
