SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is a national level entrance exam for management. It is administrated by Symbiosis International University. It is conducted for about 15 Symbiosis Institutions.  The exam is conducted for 2 hours duration. The questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions. The exam was conducted on December 16, 2018, in online mode in 92 cities all over India. The result for the same has been announced on January 10, 2019. The candidates who have appeared for the SNAP 2018 exam can check the results in the official website.

The following are the steps to check download the score card of SNAP 2018 results:

  • Open the official website of SNAP snaptest.org
  • Click on the user id and password.
  • Submit the login button.
  • The Result of SNAP 2018 will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the SNAP 2018 result.
  • Take the printout of the SNAP 2018 result for future references.

SNAP 2018 result will display the following information:

  • Candidate’s name.
  • Candidate’s roll number.
  • Candidate’s signature and photograph.
  • SNAP 2018 sectional scores.
  • SNAP 2018 overall scores.

After the SNAP 2018 result is announced, the participating institutes will declare the shortlist of candidates on the basis of cut off. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for the Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

The final merit list will be prepared only after the following selection rounds:

Group Exercise Round (GE):

In Group Exercise round the candidates are screened on the basis of their potential as well as skills. They are tested on their communication skills, tactfulness, and problem-solving abilities and to stay focused and get the task done in allotted time. The topic will be given for the group of candidates and asked to discuss among themselves for 15-20 minutes.

They will be divided into groups and each group will be given two case studies. The candidates can go through the case study for 5 minutes and they have to discuss the case study for 15 minutes and should reach a consensus. On the basis of GE, the candidates are allowed to attend Personal Interview (PI).

Personal Interview Round (PI):

The personal interview is conducted in order to analyze the candidate’s responses, interpersonal, soft skills, confidence, and clarity. The annexure and other forms are provided to the candidates. The questions will be asked based on the details filled in the annexure and other information’s based on the academic qualifications.

Writing Ability Test (WAT):

It is a pen and paper-based test/round. It may also be termed as essay writing test. The candidate’s writing skills clubbed with consistency and clarity and time management will be tested. The WAT has been designed mainly to test the candidate’s knowledge and richness of content. All the candidates have to write a short essay on a particular topic given to them within 25 minutes.

SNAP 2018 Merit list:

The final merit list will be released in February 2019. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks scored in the SNAP and GE/PI/WAT rounds. It must be noted that SNAP test is of 150 marks, which is scaled down to 50 marks during the selection process.
