A new railway recruitment notification has recently been published by NFR (North Frontier Railway) to fill vacancies against sports quota. RRC NRF Guwahati invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates against the employment notice published.
The application form for NFR recruitment will be accepted until 16th December 2019. And the deadline is 26th December 2019 for Andaman and Nicobar Island, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul, Spiti Districts, Pangi Sub Division in Chamba district of Himachal, Lakshadweep and Abroad candidates.
Vacancies in the advertised notification are for the sports candidates belonging to the events namely, athletics, basketball, badminton, cycling, cricket, powerlifting, volleyball, weight lifting.

Pay matrix:
For an appointment to the post of technician 3, the grade pay will be Rs.1900/2000 level 2 or o 3 of the pay matrix.
Educational qualification:
The candidates should have passed 10th class. The sports quota candidates will undergo 3 years of training unless they possess an ITI qualification in the relevant trade, which if they do, then the training will be 6 months.
In case, of the Non-Technical popular category posts, the candidate should have passed the 12th class.
Age limit:
The age limit for the posts is 18 to 25 years as on 1st January 2020.
Selection Process:
The NFR recruitment 2019 selection shall be such that candidates will be shortlisted and called for the first a trial of sports performance. After that, the candidates will undergo an assessment of sports achievement and educational qualification.
During the trials, the candidates will be judged as fit or not. To qualify in the fitness test the candidates have to score more than 25 marks.

The application form submission is offline. The candidates can visit the notification, which will have the application in Annexure A.
The candidates have to fill the application form in their own handwriting on an A4 size sheet, along with 2 passport size photo duly attested. And the application should be sent to the address mentioned on the notification.
