The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) applicants will have to wait further for their admit cards. It was scheduled to be available on the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) website on April 15. Now, the admit card for the examination will be available on April 22, 2017. The NEET is scheduled to take place at over 2000 test centres in 104 cities across the country on May 7.

Even before the admit cards were made available by CBSE, there were media reports claiming that admit cards have been made available on the official website. It caused a lot of ambiguity among the aspirants which left them disappointed upon opening the website. The delay in publishing the admit card has been resulted due to the reopening of application window earlier this month, after the Supreme Court order. Candidates over the age of 25 years were allowed to apply for this year’s examination after the apex court order and thus CBSE had to reopen the application process on April 1. The application process was open till April 5.

Although the date of availability of admit card has been shifted, we are hopeful that the date of examination would remain the same.
