Every year, from January to March, many students spend a term at B-schools abroad .The institute has international linkages with 62 institutions spread across 27 countries. The batch received job offers from diverse sectors such as FMCG, Consulting, Engineering Industries, Pharmaceutical, IT & ITeS, BFSI, Telecom, Retail, etc.

With a variety of clubs and committees that ensure holistic learning, student life at IMT is ever-thriving. The Student Affairs and Welfare Council takes care of every aspect of life on campus, the Corporate Communication and Media Relations Committee handles media relations, orchestrates corporate communications, and works in confluence with the Admissions department to handle admissions at IMT. The International Relations Committee facilitates the student exchange program and is responsible for the hospitality of students who have come from B-schools abroad. The Alumni Relations Committee is the link between the current students and the institute’s alumni.

Club MarkUp is a student-run marketing enterprise that not only offers a platform for budding marketing managers at IMT and also provides real time solutions for the corporate. E-Cell strongly backed by its patron organizations like TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) and NEN (The National Entrepreneurship Network) work towards fostering the entrepreneurial spirit.

The Cultural Committee provides a platform to the students to nurture and showcase their talent. Finnacle Investments is the investment and asset management club of IMT, and FinNiche is the finance club of IMT. HRuday, the official HR club acts as an interface between the HR students and the corporate world. Make a difference Foundation, popularly called MADF, is the student initiated social wing of IMT. The Sports Committee organizes different sporting activities, including “Chakravyuh” – the largest inter-B-school sporting fest in the nation.

IMT’s students have performed well both in and outside campus. The last year, has seen many accolades coming our way. IMT’s students have been Speakers at the 11th Emirates Environmental Group Public Speaking Competition in Knowledge Village, Dubai; presented research papers at the International Conference on Facets of Business Excellence held at India Habitat Center (FOBE-2012); represented India and Won at The Hyundai Global Youth Marketing Camp, Seoul , South Korea (2013); won the first prize at Deloitte & Eli Lilly’s Global Case Competition; were the finalists of Mahindra War Room 2013 held at Mumbai in the esteemed presence of Anand Mahindra and many more.
