Joint Entrance Mains Examination is one of the most demanding examinations speculated to be one of the toughest competitive exams taken in the nation. Certain changes have been introduced in the method of conduction of the Joint Entrance Exam that will be enforced from the current academic session i.e. 2019. The examination conducting body will be NTA and the JEE will be conducted two times a year. The two different sessions of the JEE Main Examination will be organized in the months of January and April respectively. The exam is to be conducted two times a year from 2019 and the application forms for the examination are filled a few months prior to the examination. For the January session of JEE Main Exam, the application forms were available from the month of September 1-30 and for the April session the application forms will be made available from 7th February to 8th March.

Method to download JEE Answer key

  • The candidates are asked to register through their JEE Main application number and password/DOB
  • After mentioning the exact details press “Submit”
  • The answer pertaining to the ID will be displayed on the phone/computer screen

The answer key that is released a few days after the examinations are called the provisional answer key and the candidates can raise objections if they see certain faults with the answers displayed in the answer key. The authorities comprising the exam conducting body and other governing institutions are bound to look into the matter and accept the objection if it is rightly made. Once all the objections are filed and a thorough rechecking of the answer key is done, the final answer key is published after the completion of the objection filing period.

Any candidate can easily evaluate his/her marks on the basis of the marking scheme mentioned above in the marking scheme and provisional answer key and determine a rough sum total of the score that he/she might get. By comparing the answers that one has chosen in the multiple choice questions with the correct answer mentioned in the answer key any candidate can tabulate his score. Be careful and award and deduct marks following the marking scheme and keep track of all the correct and incorrect responses to calculate the correct result. One also has the right to challenge the provisional answer key released by the examination conducting body by following a simple procedure.
