HPPSC (Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Lecturer. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post through the prescribed format on or before 22nd November 2019.

  • English – 47 posts.
  • Hindi- 47 posts.
  • Political science – 40 posts.
  • Commerce – 215 posts.

Educational qualification:

The candidates must have a Master’s degree in the subject concerned from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent and B. Ed degree from a recognized University with 50% minimum marks or 2 years integrated M. Sc Ed. Course or an equivalent from a recognized University.

Age limit:

The candidate applying for the post of Lecturer should be 18 to 45 years of age (as on 1st January 2019).

Pay scale:

The HPPSC recruitment 2019 pay scale is Rs. 10300/- to Rs. 34800/- + Rs. 4200/- GP (contractual amount of Rs. 14500/- Per Month).

Selection process:

The candidates will be selected based on the screening test, computer-based test, and written test.

How to apply:

The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment through the online mode. The online applications for the Lecturer posts will have to be filled up from 2nd November 2019 to 22nd November 2019.

Application fee:

  • General/EWS category – Rs.400/-.
  • SC of HP/ST of HP/ OBC of HP/BPL of HP/EWS (BPL) – Rs.100/-.
  • Ex-servicemen of HP- No fee.
