Tomorrow, October 4, 2016, is the last day to submit the application form for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017. GATE authorities have already started the verification process of submitted applications.
Some candidates are worried if their application is submitted or not, as its status is ‘under scrutiny’. An official from the GATE 2017 management said, “It is sad to know that GATE candidates don’t even know the ABC of filling an application form. We will check each and every application form for errors, and get in touch with candidates if required.”
Application forms are being checked for degree certificate, caste certificate, photo, signature etc. Candidates with incorrect information, or whose applications need to be rectified will be informed via SMS or email by the GATE authorities.
Candidates should not worry if their application status in ‘under scrutiny’. GATE authorities will accept the application form only after checking the submitted information.
