The Birla Institute of Technology, Extension Center is based in Deoghar. The Institution has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Jharkhand. The institute was established in 2007 and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
The institute has all the necessary infrastructure like Central Computing Facility, classrooms, labs, library, seminar halls, hostel facilities and transport facility. The college is conducting the Annual Athletics Meet 2016.
The institute offers undergraduate programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication engineering, Production engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The student intake for various branches is –
