Exam Pattern for MAT 2024

According to the updated MAT 2024 exam structure, the test consists of 150 multiple-choice questions to be answered within a 120-minute timeframe. In the MAT 2024 exam’s marking scheme, one mark is given for each correct answer, while a penalty of 0.25 marks is imposed for each incorrect response.

• MAT 2024 exam will be available in three modes: IBT, CBT, and PBT.
• The MAT Exam Pattern divides the question paper into five sections: Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, and Economics and Business Environment.
• Each section will now contain 30 multiple-choice questions instead of the previous 40, resulting in a total of 150 questions rather than 200.
• The exam will have a duration of 120 minutes.
• Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
