UP Board Announced New Rules for the Class 10th Exam

According to the Uttar Pradesh State, new rules can be applied for those who take the 10th board of UP board. In case the government of the state sanctions the new proposal of the government, then students below 14 years of age will not be able to take the 10th standard examination.

The UP Board has sent a proposal to the Yogi government concerning this issue so to officially set the minimum and maximum age limit for the exam. However, students taking private exams are excluded from this rule.

As per the present reports, the UP board has given a proposal to the government to set the age limit. Supporting this proposal, the age of the candidate should be a minimum of 14 and a maximum of 18 years. In such circumstances, if the government supports, then the UP board will execute this decision from the next session. Nevertheless, the age limit of students is already in place in many states of the country.

Reason:

The reason for this decision is that the UP board wants to crack down on the mafia through this transition because till now due to the lack of age limit on the board, even older age-old students used to take the exam easily.

The CBSE and Delhi Board already adopted this in their system of setting an age limit. And the age limit of 14 years has been fixed here. While the age limit in the Bihar board is more than 14 years and ICSE has also set certain standards.
