A Joint Admission Test is conducted by the Director of Technical Education, Assam for choice of candidates for admission to the primary year of the B.E. course to the 2 regime faculties and REC (for Assam quota only). Hr. Sec. Examination (10+2) from Assam Hr. Sec. Education Council or the same examination with PCM, and English securing a minimum of 500 marks in combination in PCM in one sitting are eligible.
