Introduction

The Vivekanand Business School (VBS) carries with it the rich legacy of Management teaching methods of its parent, VESIM. VBS was initiated as the standalone Institute to offer the autonomous programme of PGDM, in keeping with the rules of the apex body, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) that oversees technical education in the country. VBS is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Management Studies & Research (VESIM) and the newly established Vivekanand Education Society’s Business School (VBS) are separate entities, established by VES to impart management education.

1. Late Karmayogi Shri. Hashu Advani Merit Scholarship

VBS has always contributed to the tradition of academic excellence through its well- designed academic programs. We have always strived to honor students with brilliant academic records by providing them scholarships. A student who has scored brilliantly in graduation can approach us with the mark sheet and Entrance Exam Score card, if he/she wishes to take advantage of this scholarship program.

2. VES Trust Financial Assistance Scheme (Samarthan)

VES Trust has always supported and helped needy and brilliant students from weaker sections of the society for further studies. VES Trust has been given financial assistance to the needy VES students in the name of “SAMARTHAN” for further education. The students may apply and get the financial assistance based on the eligibility criteria prescribed by the VES Trust. This financial assistance scheme will be subject to approval and approval related to all the rights are reserved.

3. Special Encouragement Scholarships:

Topper Female Student Scholarship
This merit-based scholarship is awarded to female students, who have secured high marks in their PGDM course. The selected student will receive an amount of Rs 25,000.

Topper Scholarship to PH – Physically Challenged Student
This scholarship intends to provide financial assistance to differently-abled students based on their merit in the PGDM course. The selected student will receive a reward amount of Rs 25,000.

4. Minority Scholarships

Under this scholarship scheme, Rs 25,000 is awarded on the merit-basis and is subjected to government policies and rules, and compliance to requirements and eligibility criteria. This scholarship is for candidates belonging to minorities, including such Buddhist, Jain, Parsi, Sikh, Christian, Jew and Muslim

The Value Added Track provides opportunities to the student to gain holistic knowledge in an experiential mode. These activities are designed to increase the student's employability and prepare them to be successful in life. The Value Added Track is mandatory for all students and he/she is not eligible for final award of the degree if the requirement of Value Added Track are not satisfied.

Vivekanand Business School Mumbai Admission Process

Eligibility

• Aspirant who has graduated from any recognised Indian university with a minimum 50% marks.
• Final year graduating students can apply, but their admission will be withheld until they clear the qualifying exam with 50% marks.
• Entrance Exam test scores of CAT /XAT /MAT/ MH-CET/ CMAT/ GMAT/ ATMA will be accepted.
• Aspirants registered in any of the above Entrance exams can also apply for the course & admission will be on Provisional Basis.
