Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) offers a wide range of programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated and doctoral levels in the field of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Management Studies, Rural Studies, Engineering & Technology, Medicine, Law and new constituted Computer Science, Homoeopathy and Architecture departments.
The university offers various UG, PG, M.Phil & Ph.D. and Diploma courses in its 94 Government, 49 Grant-in-aid, 190 self-financed and 104 postgraduate centers. South Gujarat University (VNSGU) also offers MBBS, BHMS, MD, MS, B.Sc (Nursing), BPT, MPT, M.Sc (Nursing) & MOT programs in various disciplines in its affiliated colleges.
VNSGU offers MBBS & BHMS programs for the duration of 5.5 years including one year of rotating internship. Admission in MBBS is based on the marks scored in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, commonly known as NEET conducted by CBSE. The admission to BHMS program is completely based on merit.

South Gujarat University offers MA, M.Sc, LL.M, MPA, LL.M & MRS programs in various disciplines at PG level. The minimum eligibility is a pass in Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline.
Admission to any of the courses belonging to Department of Human Resource will be done through a merit on the basis of admission test. The admission test is based on Entrance examinations like GRE and GMAT.
Apart from the courses related to HR Department, the admission to rest of the PG programs is based on the entrance test followed by an interview.

The VNSGU Hall Ticket is the authorization to take the examination. Only qualifying applicants will be given a hall pass. A student who is taking a university semester exam must bring their admit cards with them on each day of the exam. No students will be allowed to the hall unless they have an admit card. When questioned, students must show their hall ticket to the supervisor in the test. The supervisor will go through the hall ticket and sign it. Candidates must keep their VNSGU hall ticket clean and undamaged.
