Q. Does VNSGU provide any scholarships to its students?

Ans. Yes, VNSGU provides scholarships on a merit basis. VNSGU provides scholarships including Merit-cum-means scholarships for PG students, National Merit Scholarship, PG Merit Scholarship Scheme for University Rank Holders, PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child, Post-Metric Scholarship Scheme for Minority Communities, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for SC students, University Protsahan Scholarship, M.Phil/ Ph.D. Fellowship for SC students, Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority students, etc.

Q. How many colleges are under VNSGU?

Ans. At present, there are 95 government and grant-in-aid and 195 self-financed colleges affiliated with VNSGU.

Q. Is VNSGU a good university?

Ans. VNSGU is one of the Great universities in Surat. Very good facilities are available here. This place is very neat and clean. A lot of courses and very different Streams are available but Not a place for visitors.

Q. How does VNSGU calculate percentage?

Ans. Formula for converting the CGPA into Percentage shall be: Percentage (%) = (Obtained CGPA / 10) * 100 Example: if the CGPA is 6.88 the percentage will be: (6.88/10)*100= 68.8%.

Q. How can I get admission to VNSGU?

Ans. Candidates need to clear the 10+2 level or equivalent examination in a relevant discipline. For Post Basic B.Sc (N) program, candidates with experience and a Diploma in General Nursing will be preferred. Admission is offered on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university.
