SSN College of Engineering (SSNCE), founded in 1996, is a technical college in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It has ties to Anna University. The SSNCE is the only engineering college in the USN system.
Full-time B.Tech and M.Tech programs are available at SSN College of Engineering. Candidates seeking admission must complete the online application form available on the institute’s official website. For all programs, the application fee is INR 1250/-.
Admission to both programs is based on the results of the qualifying examination. The admission test scores determine whether or not the candidate receives the scholarship.
Top scorers in the entrance exam and qualifying examination will be given priority.
For B.Tech and M.Tech admission, candidates must go through TNEA and TANCET counselling. Candidates must proceed to the institute for the final admission round once they have been assigned through counselling.

SSN College of Engineering offers a four-year full-time B.E/B.Tech programme. To be eligible for these eight engineering specialisations, candidates must have completed 10+2 levels of education.
Candidates with sporting accomplishments and who have represented their countries at the national and international levels are also encouraged to apply. They must have certificates proving their accomplishments.
Students who are the children of PIOs, Foreign Nationals, or NRIs are also eligible to apply, provided they have completed their 10+2 level of education or equivalent. If the candidate has not completed 10+2 through CBSE medium, they must produce a certificate proving the board and qualifying examination equivalence.

Candidates will be chosen based on merit and marks obtained in 10+2 exams, as well as Q marks obtained in Mathematics (M), Physics (P), and Chemistry (C): The formula for calculating Q marks is provided below.
Q = M + ((P+C) / 2), where M, P, and C are percentage marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
All admissions are handled in accordance with Anna University’s policies. Students can obtain an application form from the college website in order to apply. The application will be submitted online.
Candidates must fill out application forms and submit them online, along with application fees. For admission, candidates must participate in TNEA counselling.

TNEA Counselling is available online. Based on TNEA scores, the counselling authority will publish a list of candidates who can participate in the counselling rounds.
In order to participate in the counselling, candidates must also pay a fee. The counselling fee can be paid online via Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
After successfully paying the fee, candidates can begin applying to SSN College for their desired engineering branch. After filling out the options in decreasing order of preference, candidates must lock their selections using the same login.
Candidates cannot change their selections once they have been locked. If the candidates select the options but are unable to lock them, it will be locked automatically.
Following that, several rounds of counselling will take place. Candidates who have been assigned must download the allotment letter and proceed to SSN College of Engineering. This allocation will be based on rank and available seats.
When they arrive at the college, they must pay the final admission fee. The documents listed below must be carried by candidates for verification with originals and photocopies during counselling and reporting at college.

Candidates must apply and register for TNEA Counseling. Following the submission of test results, the counselling authority publishes a list of candidates who are eligible for the process. Make the appropriate counselling fee payment.
Fill in the desired specialisation choices for SSN College of Engineering after paying the fee. If the options have been reviewed, lock them and wait for the final allocation. If the desired specialisation is allotted, freeze the option and print the allotment letter.
