SMVDU Campus Facilities
SMVDU campus is equipped with all the basic amenities like Power & Water Supply, Telephone Exchange, Guesthouse, Schools for Children, Transportation, Catering Facility, Medical Aid Centre, Bank, ATM Facility, Post Office, Auditorium, and Shopping Complexes. Medical Aid Centre is fully accommodated with the required number of staff and facilities such as:

- Separate Wards for male and female patients.
The Sports Infrastructure inside the campus includes:

Catering facilities are also provided for the students, faculty and staff rendered by the contractors in the boy’s and girl’s hostel. Each SMVDU hostel has its own Mess facility, which is very well monitored and taken care of by a committee consisting of Hostel Warden, Hostel Caretaker and nominated students from the SMVDU hostel.
SMVDU Faculty members also take part in ensuring that the food served is of good quality. The SMVDU hostel fees are structured and planned accordingly for all the students.
SMVDU address, located near the shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, after which it is named, is in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. With the rich environment and scenic setting around it, this University makes for a very peaceful and beautiful environment for both growing up and learning. It is located at a distance of 45 km from Jammu Airport and 14 km short of the town of Katra.
SMVDU is surrounded by mountains and plateaus on three sides on the foothills of Trikuta Range. The shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is located near it. It has its very own township with all the necessities and amenities available in-house.
