SMVDU Admission Process

SMVDU conducts its admission with the help of entrance examinations to the various undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated programs that are offered by the university. The entrance exams are conducted at various centres across the country.

Other than the admission with the help the entrance exams of its own, admissions are also made based on the different national entrance exams for admission to reputed colleges.

SMVDU Admission for M.Tech in  Electronics and Communication Engineering,  Computer Science and Engineering and Manufacturing and Automation is held through GATE

Also, admission for M.Tech in Energy Systems, M.Sc in Physics, Mathematics and Biotechnology (with an option for specialization in Genetics) is held through SMVDU admission procedure or CCMT. SMVDU Katra Admission Highlights

  • Only those candidates who have passed in Higher Secondary or 10+2, or any equivalent examination are eligible to appear in SMVDUEE(Main), provided that the candidate has passed the Higher Secondary examination in the past one or two years and not more than that.
  • Candidates must have taken five subjects in the class 12th/qualifying examination in order to be eligible to appear for the SMVDUEE.
  • Candidates who are applying for B.Arch through JOSAA/CSAB should satisfy all the criteria and cut off criteria to get admission as per JOSAA/CSAB guidelines and Council of Architecture (CoA) guidelines.
