SVNIT Surat provides a five-year Integrated M.Sc program in three disciplines: physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Students who successfully complete the program will receive graduate and postgraduate degrees, namely B.Sc and M.Sc.

Admission to the Ph.D. program at SVNIT Surat in 2024
In addition to the UG and PG programs, SVNIT Surat offers a Ph.D. program to Full-Time/Part-Time/Sponsored research scholars in 10 departments of Engineering and Science. Admission to the program is based on national-level entrance examinations such as GATE/UGC-NET/JRF, which are followed by a written test and personal interview conducted by the relevant department.
Eligibility Criteria for SVNIT Surat Ph.D.
- A candidate must have completed a Master’s degree in a relevant area of research with at least 50% aggregate (CGPA 5.0) OR
- Equivalent in the respective Engineering faculty (45% marks or CGPA 4.5 in the case of reserved candidates)
- AND 55% in the case of other faculties (50 percent in the case of reserved candidates)

- You’ll be taken to an online registration portal.
- Register with your email address and other required information.
