Rajasthan University Scholarship

The scholarship is a financial or monetary help which can be provided by the Government or any other private organization and sometimes from the university as well. Sometimes the money amount is more than the college fees; in this case, the extra amount is being credited to the student’s account. Students can also avail an Education Loan. However, the scholarship is a different thing from the Educational Loan as the money won’t be repaid.

Rajasthan University scholarships are given considering a lot of things in mind. Some of them are the student’s merit score, the annual income of his or her parents, attendance etc. These scholarships allow the students to extend their further education and daily needs as well.

• Daya Krishna Scholarship: This scholarship can be availed by the students of the Philosophy Department. The first two rank holders in the semester get this monetary aid.
• Sukadev Shastri Darshan Puraskar: The student who will hold the first position in the third and fourth semester in Philosophy( Hons) will get this scholarship.
• Rukmani Devi Mishra Scholarship: This is given to the meritorious student of M.Sc department.
• ONGC scholarship: It is offered by the University of Rajasthan to the students with the first rank in the initial year of M.sc (Geology) course. The candidate is given INR 5,000 per month for one year.
• Dr Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship: The scheme can be availed by the student from EBC General category. The candidates’ parent’s income must be within one lakh.
• Chief ‘Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship: This is given to the students who have scored more than 60% in their 10+2 examination and have a valid bank account in a government bank. Their parents’ income must be within 2,50,00 INR every year.
