Periyar University Admission Process
Admission to the undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and distance courses is taken based on the marks scored in the merit-based entrance examination followed by a selection process in Periyar University.
However, all candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply for their preferred courses. Students can download the Periyar University application form from its official website.
Admission Highlights
- For undergraduate-level B.VOC courses, candidates are shortlisted based on their marks scored in the entrance examination. All applicants need to pass the HSC exam from a recognized board to be eligible to apply for the course.
- For Periyar University PG admission 2019, candidates are selected based on the marks scored in the previous qualifying degree. All the applicants must have a graduation degree in the relevant stream from any recognised university to be eligible to apply for the course.
- For Postgraduate level MBA and MCA courses, the university considers TANCET exam scores. Besides, all candidates should have a graduation degree from any recognised university to apply for the courses.
- For Periyar University PhD admission 2019, candidates are required to appear in the entrance examination followed by an interview round, which is conducted by the university every year. Candidates having a Master degree in any relevant stream from a recognised university, are eligible to apply for the course.
- For doctoral level M.Phil courses, all applicants must appear in the entrance examination followed by an interview round, which is conducted by the university every year. All candidates should have a Master’s degree in any relevant stream from a recognised university to apply for the course.
