PDEU Admission 2024

PDEU has released the admission policy for MBA 2024-26. PDEU MBA 2024 admissions will start soon with the release of the application form and the last date to apply will be February 03, 2024

Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) was established by GERMI as a Private University through the State Act. It was formerly known as Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU). The university is located at Raisan village of Gandhinagar city. The University is recognised by UGC (University Grants Commission) and is a member of AIU (Association of Indian Universities).

PDEU has four schools, located on the same campus. The schools include the School of Petroleum Technology, School of Technology, School of Petroleum Management, and School of Liberal Studies. The university offers various courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and research level.

Admission in B.Tech and M.Tech is done through JEE Mains and GATE respectively. Candidates seeking admission in MBA will have to appear in CAT/XAT/NMAT. Interested candidates need to note that registration for NMAT and XAT has started and will end on November 10 and November 30 respectively .
Admission to M.Sc. is based on Written Test and PI conducted by the university itself.

For PhD courses, students must qualify in the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) which is also conducted by the university.

Pandit Deendayal Energy University Course Admissions 2024 B.Tech

At undergraduate level, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) provides courses like Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and B.Tech (Lateral) to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The courses offered are for 4-years and 3-years respectively. The number of seats depend upon the nature of specializations as opted by the candidates.

The admission in B.tech is done on the basis of rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are only liable to apply for B.Tech course at the University. Eligible candidates who are willing to appear in JEE Mains may visit the official website.

Undergraduate Pandit Deendayal Energy University Course Admission Criteria 2024

At undergraduate level, the university offers general courses like BA (Hons), BBA (Hons), B.Com (Hons) and B.Sc (Hons) under School of Liberal Studies.. All the courses offered are of 4-years duration.

Admission in the above mentioned courses is done on the basis of Witten Test and Inteview conducted by the university. Students must meet the eligibility criteria in order to seek admission in this college.

PDEU M.Tech Admission 2024

At postgraduate level, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) offers Engineering courses such as Master of Technology (M.Tech) in 16 different specializations. The courses offered are for a duration  of two years. The intake capacity is 18 for each specialization offered.

Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech need to appear in the General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). For GATE, eligible candidates may visit the official website.

The university fills 50% seats through GATE score and rest 50% seats are filled based on Personal Interview (PI) for non-GATE candidates.

PDEU Postgraduate Admission 2024

The university also focuses in the area of Arts and Business Administration so as to reach out to many students. Courses like Master of Business Administration (MBA), PGDPM-x, PGDGM-x, Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (M.Sc) are offered at postgraduate level. The intake capacity for MBA and MA are 150 seats and 20 seats respectively and the duration of all the courses is two years. The intake in M.Sc. course is 25 students in each specialization.

Candidates seeking admission in MBA need to appear in CAT / XAT / NMAT. The final selection is based on the Entrance Exam score, GD, WAT, PI, work experience and academic performance.

Admission in MA and M.Sc will be done on the basis of marks scored in a written test conducted by the university. However, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.

The final selection in Executive programs (PGDPM-x and PGDGM-x) and M.Sc. is based on the performance in Interview round.

At Research level, the university offers Ph.D course in various specializations. The number of seats depends upon the nature of specializations.

The applicants who fulfil the eligibility criteria and are shortlisted shall be put through Research Aptitude Test (RAT) – a written test conducted by the University. Candidates who clear the written test with 50% will be called for a Personal Interview which is again conducted by the university.
