NIT Puducherry Admission Process
All the applicants are admitted to several engineering courses on the basis of the result of their qualifying exam. JEE Mains and GATE score are considered. JEE exam is followed by a counselling round organized by JoSAA ( Joint Seat Allocation Authority). This round ends with a personal interview session. B. Tech applicants require a certain score in Joint Entrance Exam. M. Tech applicants require a certain score in Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering. PhD applicants are required to get a certain score in the qualifying exam. However, the final selection of the candidates is based on the combined score of the previous exam, the qualifying exam and the personal interview round.

NIT Puducherry Result and Cut off
The selection of the students in a particular course depends on the NIT Puducherry cutoff score of their qualifying exam. B. Tech candidates wait for the declaration of the JEE Mains cut off list and for M. Tech candidates GATE cut off score is considered. This cut off score has to be crossed by candidates in order to get admission in a particular course. PhD candidates await the declaration of result of the qualifying exam.
