NIFT Srinagar offers Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) programs with specialisations in Fashion Design and Fashion Communication. The intake capacity for the courses is 60 with 30 seats per speciality. The Government of India recognises the courses.
Selection of candidates for the B.Des. Programs, 50% weight is given to CAT score, 30% to GAT score and the remaining 20% to the Situation Test score.

NIFT Srinagar B.Des. Admission 2018:
- Eligibility criteria for the B. Des course is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board or university.
- Candidates applying for the B. Des course qualify a written entrance test conducted by NIFT. Those who qualify the entrance exam must further restrict Situation Test (ST), which is a hands-on test to evaluate the candidate’s skills for material handling and innovative ability.
