Narsee Monjee (NMCCE) Admission 2023:

Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics (NMCCE) offers various UG and PG courses in the field of Commerce and Economics. At the UG level, NMCCE offers B.Com, BMS, and B.Sc courses, while the offers only course at PG Level that is M.Com.

NMCCE is currently accepting applications for B.Sc-IT Phase-2 admissions. The last date for the submission of the college admission form is September 3, 2021. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the college. The first merit list for the same is scheduled to be released on September 6, 2021. 

Admissions to all the UG and PG courses at NMCCE are done on the basis of merit as per the University of Mumbai guidelines. The cutoff for open category candidates at NMCCE ranges from 89% to 97%, depending on the courses.

NMCCE UG Admission 2023

Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics offers full-time B.Com in three specializations, BMS, and B.Sc courses at the UG level for a duration of three years. For admission to all the UG courses, candidates must have passed Higher Secondary School Examination (HSSC) and secured an aggregate of 45% marks. Whereas for B.Com, candidate need to pass 12th or equivalent examination.

Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (IT) must have passed class 12th with 45% aggregate marks and Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects. For B.Sc. (IT), preference will be given to candidate’s score in Mathematics. Admissions to all the courses will be merit based.

Key Points to remember for UG Admission:

  • Merit list for admission will be declared stream wise.
  • It is compulsory for the selected students to register themselves under the university.
  • For the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from board other than Maharashtra State Board, must apply for Provisional Statement of Eligibility.
  • Forms will be available at the college office and candidates need to attach a photocopy of mark sheet of class 12th with the form.
  • Candidates must have attained 17 years of age.

NMCCE M.Com Admission 2023

At the PG level, Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics offers M.Com with three specializations. Applicants who have obtained Bachelor’s in Commerce or its disciplines (B.Com/ BMS/ BFM/ BBI/ BAF) are eligible to apply for admission. Admission will be based on the candidate’s score in the qualifying degree examination.

NMCCE Application Process 2023

Applications for admission will have to be submitted in two phases. Candidates must fill Pre-Admission Online Registration form in the official website of Mumbai University, followed by filling up of Online Admission Form in the college website after his/ her name appears in the merit list.

Steps to apply in the official website of college are as below:

  • Visit the official website of the college.
  • Select ‘Online Pre Admission Form’ link as per the course.
  • Fill the details and click on Submit button.
  • After filling the form completely, an application number will be generated.
  • Proceed to pay the application fees. Candidates will get payment confirmation mail.
  • Save the duly filled in form and get the hardcopy (print out) of the form.
  • Submit the hardcopy of the application form with the documents and print of the payment confirmation email.
  • Candidates will receive signed and stamped acknowledgement form.
  • After candidate’s name appear in merit list, they have to login through the link available at the home page.
  • Click on ‘Check the Status’ link.
  • Select the Post Admission Form link and proceed to fill the mandatory details.
  • Application Fees: INR 100 (plus INR 1.50 Online Additional Convenience Fees)

Q: What is the application fee of NMCCE?

Ans: The application fee is for the students from state INR 320 and for Foreigner Nationals INR 750.
