MET Mumbai Scholarships & Financial Aid 2025

1. Educational Loan Assistance

  • MET has tie-ups with banks such as Saraswat Cooperative Bank, Bank of India, and Axis Bank.

  • Students can avail education loans depending on course fee, duration, and eligibility.

  • MET facilitates the process, but students need to apply directly with the banks.

2. Fee Concession for Economically Disadvantaged Students

  • A 25% fee concession is available for students from economically weaker sections.

  • Applicants must submit an income certificate and required documents.

  • The final approval is based on internal evaluation.

3. MET Freeship Awards

  • Offered to two meritorious and financially needy students per PGDM program.

  • Selection is done by an impartial committee.

  • Proof of family income must be provided.

  • In rare cases, if more candidates qualify, the award amount may be shared.

MET Mumbai Scholarship Application Process 2025

Step 1 – Check Eligibility

  • Review the eligibility criteria for different scholarships:

    • Academic performance (merit-based)

    • Entrance exam rank (CAT, MAH-CET, etc.)

    • Family income status (need-based)

    • Category or special provisions (reserved categories, staff dependents, etc.)

Step 2 – Collect Required Documents

Prepare scanned copies of:

  • Income certificate (for need-based aid)

  • Previous academic mark sheets & certificates

  • Entrance exam scorecard (CAT/MAH-CET/CMAT/etc.)

  • Caste/category certificate (if applicable)

  • ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.)

  • MET Admission Offer Letter / Fee receipt

Step 3 – Obtain Application Form

  • Visit the MET Institute of Management office or download the scholarship/financial aid form (if available online).

  • For Freeship Awards, apply specifically through the PGDM office.

  • For Educational Loans, collect loan documents directly from the partnered banks (Saraswat, Bank of India, Axis Bank).

Step 4 – Fill in the Application

  • Provide personal, academic, and financial details accurately.

  • Attach all supporting documents (income proof, certificates, etc.).

  • If applying for multiple scholarships (merit + need-based), submit separate applications as per guidelines.

Step 5 – Submit the Application

  • Submit the completed form to the MET Scholarship/Accounts Office before the deadline.

  • For bank loans, apply directly at the respective bank branch after receiving admission confirmation.

Step 6 – Verification & Evaluation

  • Applications are reviewed by the MET Scholarship Committee.

  • For Freeship Awards, the committee evaluates merit + need, and may conduct an interview.

  • Bank loans are sanctioned after financial background verification.

Step 7 – Scholarship Award & Disbursement

  • Selected students are notified via official communication (email/notice board).

  • Scholarship amount may be adjusted against tuition fees or disbursed as per MET norms.

  • For loans, the sanctioned amount is credited directly to the institute’s account.

Pro Tip: Apply early with complete documents, as merit- and need-based scholarships are limited in number and given on a first-come, first-assessed basis.
