Merit-Based scholarship:

Merit-based scholarships are offered to candidates who have demonstrated academic excellence with other significant achievements in sports, arts, community service or any other achievement as evidence of the student’s outstanding capability.

Number of scholarships: 5 (100% Tuition fee waiver)

Eligibility:

  • Students must be a resident of India and below 30 years of age.
  • Students must have an excellent academic record (10th, 12th and graduation) and good scores in qualifying examinations.
  • Achievements at the State, National, or International levels in Sports, Arts and Community service or other significant achievements.

Other scholarships:

  • Subject-Based Scholarship: The scholarship is provided to the students of Humanity or liberal arts and who score first class during the first year.
  • Need-Based Scholarship: There are three kinds of scholarship under the need-based category – Smt. Sakarbai K Somaiya scholarship, Smt. Mayadevi Somaiya, and Dhiren Savla scholarship. Dhiren Savla scholarship is only provided for female students. The student must take admission under the merit list to qualify for the scholarship and hold Indian nationality.
  • Special Interest Scholarships: K J Somaiya Institute of Management provides a variety of scholarship options to help the merit cum need-based students to support different student backgrounds and their different sets of interests.
  • Research Fellowships: K J Somaiya Institute of Management also offers research fellowships at the doctoral level. For the fellowship, the candidate has to be a current student of the institute and the student’s proposal must include a faculty member as an active member. 

K J Somaiya Institute of Management – Financial Aid

Based on the evaluation process, Financial Aid will be awarded to the selected applicants in the range of 10% to 80% of the tuition fees. Financial Aid awarded will be applicable for the entire duration of the programme. The decision of the Financial Aid Selection Committee will be final and cannot be challenged under any circumstance.

Eligibility Criteria (Any One):

✔ Family income of less than ₹ 8,00,000 per annum.

✔ People with Disabilities (PwD).

✔ Wards of defence personnel disabled or deceased in the line of duty.
