Kannur University Scholarship

The scholarship is a monetary award that is given to the students who prove themselves to be truly worthy of achieving them in terms of their studies and academic merit score. Kannur University offers various scholarship schemes to the meritorious and needy students who are willing to study and shine.

The University has both the government registered scholarship and University’s initiative scholarships. These Kannur University scholarships are a medium that excellently aids to improve the performance of the students by eliminating additional worries about the fees. Therefore the students are more attentive to their studies and goals.

Mr. Sudha Krishna Endowment scholarship: The current scholarship was inaugurated by Shri V Krishna, Bekal.  Mr. Sudha Krishna Endowment scholarship is given to undergraduate students. The applicant who is eligible for this Kannur University scholarship must have scored 60% in the examination of 1st year or semester. The parents of these selected candidates must have an occupation of a fisherman and the annual income must be within Rs. 36,000.

Indira Gandhi Scholarship: The single girl child get this scholarship after completing the graduation and for postgraduate study. The candidates are given 3100 INR per month for a time period of two years.

Post matric scholarship: For the minority community, this scholarship is given. The students should have scored a minimum of 50 % in their respective latest examination. They must belong to the minority community such as Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain. The annual income of their parents should be within 2,00,000 INR.

Scholarship regarding the wards of Beedi workers: The students whose parents are doing the Beedi Manufacturing with a minimum income of 10,000 INR monthly income can apply for this scholarship scheme. Applicants must have taken regular admission and also have cleared the exams in one chance to get the scholarship.
