JNTU Hyderabad Course Admissions 2024

JNTUH offers its flagship program B.Tech for a duration of four years in 24 different specialisations. JNTU Hyderabad course admissions to the B.Tech program is strictly done on the basis of the merits secured by the candidates in the TS-EAMCET entrance exam followed by TS-EAMCET counseling for the final seat allotments. JNTUH charges a fee of INR 1.19 Lakhs per year for its B.Tech program.

JNTU Hyderabad course admissions process also involves other national and state-level examinations such as GATE, TS-ICET for the program such as M.Tech and MBA respectively. The selection criteria, cutoff, dates, eligibility, and application process are discussed in the article.

JNTUH B.Tech Admission Requirements

B.Tech:

  • Candidates must have a 45 percent average in PCM and other required subjects at the +2 level.
  • Additionally, candidates must be Indian citizens in order to apply.
  • Also, the age cannot be older than 17 years.

Lateral Entry for B.Tech:

To qualify, students must have completed a three-year diploma program in a related field.

JNTUH B.Pharma Admission Requirements

  • Students must have received a 10+2 grade point average of at least 45%.
  • must have completed required courses in mathematics and physics. In addition to chemistry, biology, biotechnology, etc.

Application Procedure

While SC/ST students just have to pay INR 250, everyone else who wants to take the Engineering exam must pay INR 500. An overview of the application process is provided below.

  • The TS EAMCET Application Form must be completed in three phases.
  • It is the responsibility of the students to complete the application and retain a printout of the payment receipt.

JNTUH M.Tech Admissions Requirements

Candidates who have earned a B Tech degree from a recognised university with a minimum grade point average of 60 percent are eligible to sit for the entrance test for this program and enrol in the MTech program at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.

JNTUH M.Tech Requirements

Students who are selected for JNTU Hyderabad course admissions must pass either the GATE or PGECET.

The division is split into the following 3 categories:

  • Regular stream: under this, GATE-qualified students would receive an AICTE scholarship or stipend.
  • Sponsored category: To qualify, a student must have at least two years of work experience and be sponsored by the company where they are currently employed.
  • Non-sponsored: In this case, regardless of whether they qualify for a scholarship or not, students who pass the GATE exam are given preference.

  • Students in their final year must submit a Provisional Certificate Letter in the format required by their institute’s home office, dean, registrar, or head of department.

How Do You Apply to JNTUH?

The application can be submitted offline or online by the applicant. The steps to apply online are as follows:

  • The application form is available for download on the JNTUH website.
  • Take a printout of the form and complete the information on it.
  • Applications may be submitted with application costs paid using DD.
  • The application cost can be paid by students in any nationalised bank by challan, Demand Draft, or Net Banking in addition to submitting their application form to “The Registrar, JNT University Hyderabad.”
  • Scan and upload the necessary documents.
  • Candidates must send an application fee of INR 200 and a registration fee of INR 20,000 to the university address by DD drawn from any nationalised bank in Hyderabad, payable to “The Registrar, JNT University Hyderabad”.

  • For offline registration, candidates must send the registration fee by DD drawn on any nationalised bank in Hyderabad, payable to “The Registrar, JNT University Hyderabad.”

Necessary Enclosures:

JNTUH Guidance Process

The following documents must be produced by candidates during counselling:

  • EAMCET in TS Hall ticket/rank card.
  • Notes from Marks (Inter or its equivalent).
  • Proof of Birth Date (SSC or its Equivalent Memo).
  • Study Certificate (T.C.) Transfer from Intermediate to IV.
  • Ten-year residence certificate for the father or mother.
  • Integrated Community Certificate from the Aadhar Card and income certificates for the parents obtained from local status certificates
  • The original certificates are required for applicants claiming a reservation under the NCC, sports, PH, CAP, or minorities.

Note: Two sets of Xerox copies must be submitted with the original certificates and paperwork.
