Jain University Bangalore Scholarship

Jain University, Bangalore ensures that financial constraints do not hinder any student from pursuing their education. The university provides scholarships and financial aid to deserving students based on their academic achievements and performance. Jain University offers several scholarships categorised into six parts: Medha, Ekalavaya, Natyaswara, Atharva, Dyumna, and Samasti, aimed at fostering exceptional talent in academics, sports, music, dance, and literature. Additionally, Jain University welcomes candidates with significant physical disabilities to apply for admission to all courses.

These scholarships are available exclusively to Indian Nationals enrolled at Jain (Deemed-to-be University). The Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Scholarship Committee (JUSC) regularly reviews scholarship awards. The committee has the authority to introduce new scholarships or discontinue existing ones as deemed necessary. The eligibility criteria for each scholarship, the number of scholarships awarded annually, and the selection and renewal processes are all approved by JUSC. Scholarships within each category are awarded based on merit, considering the available number of scholarships for that year, and are not influenced by any other awards or grants held by the applicant.

Jain University Scholarship

Jain University provides six categories of scholarships which are as follows:

Ekalavaya Sports The sports scholarship shall be for a period of 3 years. After one year’s completion, the players’ performance will be reviewed, based on their performance/achievements in the State level / National level and All India Ranking tournaments. Based on the same, sports scholarships will be extended for the second year. Jain University B.Tech Scholarship

FET JU is committed to fostering higher education among deserving and meritorious students through various scholarship programs. Scholarships are awarded based on performance in CET, COMEDK, Uni-GAUGE, and JEE Main & Advanced examinations. For CBSE / ICSE board students, scholarships are granted based on merit. The allocation of scholarships follows a first-come, first-served basis, contingent upon the scrutiny of scorecards/mark sheets and subsequent approval from university officials. To qualify for the Meritorious Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be an Indian citizen residing in the country.
  • Must have obtained a minimum of 60% in the 12th/2nd PUC or equivalent examination prescribed by AICTE and UGC.

FET JU offers scholarships in various categories based on sports achievements, defence backgrounds, or caste affiliations.

Below are the categories of scholarships along with their eligibility criteria:

Scholarship Category Eligibility
JET Meritorious Scholarship Applicants who have secured exceptional marks in the JET examinations
Sports Scholarship Applicants who have won/participated at the National level in Super-a Games or B-Games in India.
Defence Scholarship This scholarship is granted to applicants whose parents are either serving in the Armed Forces or are Ex-Defence personnel.
Caste Scholarship (SC & ST) In accordance with Government regulations, scholarships will be offered to students belonging to SC/ST categories.

JEE (MAIN) Based Scholarship for B.Tech Applicants

Based on their performance in the JEE-Main administered by NTA, B.Tech applicants to JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) – Faculty of Engineering and Technology may qualify for meritorious scholarships.

Criteria: Students achieving a minimum of 60% in their 12th/2nd PUC or equivalent examination as specified by AICTE and UGC are eligible.

Jain University M.Tech Scholarship

GATE Scholarship: Students who qualify in GATE are eligible for a scholarship covering 50% of the first-year tuition fee, with one seat available per branch. Continuation of the scholarship is contingent on achieving more than 60% in the first year.

How to Apply for Jain University Scholarship?

  • To apply for a Jain University Scholarship, obtain the Scholarship Application form from the Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Admissions Office.
  • Applicants may apply for only ONE scholarship category.
  • Each student is eligible for only ONE scholarship.
  • Submit the completed scholarship application form to the Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Admissions Office.
  • Applications meeting the eligibility criteria for each scholarship category will be considered, provided they are submitted before the specified deadline.
  • Late applications for Academic Achievement Scholarships will not be considered.
  • Applications will be assessed based on merit.

Jain University Scholarship Selection Process

  • Applications submitted under categories such as academics, sports, literary, music and dance, special challenges, and community service will undergo thorough scrutiny by the University Scholarship Committee.
  • Selected students will receive a Scholarship Offer Letter along with a Scholarship Acceptance Form.
  • Students are required to respond to the scholarship offer within the specified time-frame as indicated on the Scholarship Acceptance Form.
  • Failure to respond within the stipulated period will result in the scholarship offer being voided, and the scholarship will no longer be available.
