Jain University Bangalore Scholarship

Jain University in Bangalore is committed to ensuring that no student’s education is disrupted due to financial constraints. To support deserving students, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) offers a range of scholarships and financial aid programs. These scholarships are categorised into six distinct segments, each designed to recognise exceptional talent in various fields, including academics, sports, music, dance, and literature. Additionally, the university is inclusive and welcomes candidates with significant physical disabilities to apply for all its courses.

Here are some key points regarding the scholarships at Jain University:

  1. Scholarships are available exclusively to Indian Nationals and are applicable to students enrolled at Jain (Deemed-to-be University).
  2. The Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Scholarship Committee (JUSC) regularly reviews the scholarship programs. The committee has the authority to introduce new scholarships or discontinue existing ones at its discretion.
  3. Eligibility criteria for each scholarship, along with the number of scholarships awarded annually, are determined and approved by JUSC. The committee also oversees the selection and renewal procedures.
  4. Scholarships within each category are awarded based on merit, taking into account the number of scholarships available for that year. The selection process remains unaffected by any other awards or grants received by the scholarship applicants.
  5. Scholarships granted by Jain University are non-transferable.

Applications submitted in the categories of academics, sports, literature, music and dance, specially challenged, and community service will undergo a thorough review and be presented to the University Scholarship Committee. Upon selection, eligible students will be issued a Scholarship Offer Letter along with a Scholarship Acceptance Form. Students are required to promptly confirm or decline their scholarship within the specified timeframe mentioned in the Scholarship Acceptance Form. Failing to adhere to this deadline will result in the forfeiture of the scholarship offer, rendering it unavailable for the student.
