IMI Kolkata PGDM Admissions 2026 – 28 are now open. The last date to submit applications is December 12, 2025. Apply soon!

  • IMI Kolkata PGDM Fee Structure 2026–28 has been announced, with the total academic fees ranging from ₹2.5 Lakhs to ₹18.68 Lakhs.

  • CAT 2025 Answer Key is now available on the official website (iimcat.ac.in). Candidates can submit objections from December 8 (12 PM) to December 10 (11:55 PM).

  • XAT 2026 Registration has been extended till December 11, 2025. The exam is scheduled for January 4, 2026, from 2 PM to 5 PM.

  • CMAT 2026 Exam will be conducted on January 25, 2026, for MBA/PGDM admissions.

IMI Kolkata offers the PGDM program as its flagship course. For admission to the PGDM 2026–28 batch, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of graduation before the program commences. IMI Kolkata accepts valid entrance exam scores from CAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT for shortlisting candidates for the PGDM program.

IMI Kolkata PGDM Admission 2026

IMI Kolkata offers a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program, which is recognised as equivalent to an MBA program by the AIU (Association of Indian Universities). For IMI Kolkata course admissions for MBA, IMI Kolkata does not conduct a Written Admission Test (WAT).

IMI Kolkata Eligibility Criteria for the PGDM program are as follows:

  • Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognised university, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent.
  • Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in both their 10th and 12th examinations.

  1. Visit the official website of the institute and click on the provided link for the online application. This will redirect you to the registration portal.
  2. Complete the registration process by providing your name, email ID, and other requested details.
  3. Login using the provided credentials and fill in the application with your personal, academic, and professional experience information.
  4. Upload scanned copies of your photograph and other required documents.
  5. Select your preferred city for the selection round and interview, if applicable.
  6. Pay the application fee of INR 2,250 using a credit/debit card or net banking.

IMI Kolkata Course Admissions 2026 for FPM & EFPM

IMI Kolkata offers a 4 year full-time research-level Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) to postgraduate researchers and executives. The FPM course specialises in Economics, Finance & Accounting, Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource Management, Marketing, Strategic Management, Information Systems, and Operations Management. Additionally, IMI Kolkata provides the Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) specifically designed for working individuals.

IMI Kolkata Admission Criteria for FPM and EFPM are as follows:

  • FPM: Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognised institution.
  • FPM/PhD: Candidates must have a master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering and Technology, Management, Economics, Social Science, Biological Science, Pure Science, Commerce, or Humanities with First Class. Additionally, they must have a minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in either full-time teaching or in the corporate sector.

The selection process for IMI Kolkata’s EFPM programs consists of two steps.

Firstly, candidates need to submit the Online Admission Form along with relevant documents and a 5000-word research proposal. Based on the applications received, the college will release a list of selected candidates who will then be invited for a Personal Interview as the final selection stage.
