ITM University Gwalior Infrastructure and Facilities

The Institute of Technology & Management (ITM), Gwalior is spread across a vibrant 10.85-acre green campus that blends academic excellence with holistic development. The institute is committed to delivering high-quality education supported by advanced infrastructure.

Academic Facilities

  • Classrooms & Halls: The institute houses 45 classrooms, including seminar and conference halls. Out of these, 25 classrooms are integrated with advanced ICT features such as smart interactive LCDs, projectors, and Wi-Fi/LAN connectivity, enhancing the overall learning experience.

  • Connectivity: A fiber-optic backbone ensures seamless digital connectivity across all classrooms and laboratories.

  • Laboratories: There are 42 state-of-the-art laboratories, including 18 computing labs, offering students practical exposure with ICT-enabled learning and virtual lab integration.

  • Computing Resources: The campus has 728 computers for student use, supplemented with additional faculty resources. Licensed and open-source software such as ANSYS, Microsoft Office, and Turnitin are accessible to students.

  • Support Infrastructure: Each department features notice boards, suggestion boxes, and Common Rooms (for both boys and girls). Feedback and academic reviews are conducted every semester using an ERP-based system.

Cultural and Co-curricular Spaces

  • NAAD Amphitheatre: An open-air amphitheatre with 2,500+ seating capacity, used for large-scale cultural events.

  • Seminar & Conference Halls: A 50-seater conference room and three well-equipped seminar halls facilitate academic and extracurricular events.

  • Language Lab: A centralised facility to enhance students’ communication and language skills.

  • E-Learning & MOOC Support: The institute conducts digital learning sessions, online tests (including MCQs), and hosts a local NPTEL chapter (since 2019) to promote MOOCs and self-paced learning.

Student Amenities

  • Cooperative Store: Offers stationery and photocopying services on campus.

  • Meditation Center (“Zero Gravity”): Designed to encourage self-awareness, reflection, and well-being with the belief that knowing the unknown is more important than the known.

  • Coffee Points: Designated casual spaces for relaxation and open dialogue among students and faculty.

Sports and Recreation

  • A well-developed sports cell, under the Dean of Student Welfare, oversees athletic activities.

  • Outdoor Sports Facilities: A multi-sport ground supports cricket, football, basketball, hockey, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, and badminton. Larger events are also hosted on the ITM University sports grounds.

  • Indoor Facilities: Games like chess, carrom, and table tennis, as well as a fully equipped indoor gym, promote fitness.

  • Meditation Lawn: An open space with a seating capacity of over 100, often used for yoga, wellness events, and informal gatherings.
