Admissions for MBA 2023 are now open at Institute of Management Nirma University (IMNU) in Ahmedabad. Nirma University will consider only CAT 2022 and GMAT scores for admission. The university offers full-time MBA, MBA (HRM), and MBA (Communication) programs at fees lower than most other top B-Schools.

IMNU (Nirma University) Ahmedabad MBA Final Selection Criteria

The final selection process for IMNU’s MBA program in Ahmedabad involves shortlisted candidates being evaluated based on their performance in the Theme Development & Presentation (TDP) and Personal Interview rounds, as well as their past academic performance in XII and graduation, work experience, and CAT 2022 exam score. The Final Merit List will be generated using the following weightage:

Please note the following:

  • The weights for admission to MBA (Communications) are slightly different. The weight for the CAT 2021 score is 50%. Additionally, a new component called the Portfolio Assessment Score will be used in the final selection process. Its weight is 10%.
  • Candidates with full-time, relevant work experience in professional organisations will be given an additional score of up to 10 points.
  • The score for Academic Performance will be calculated using the following weightage for each sub-component.

Please note that only the marks obtained in the examinations until the pre-final year will be taken into account for computing the merit. For instance, in a 3-year degree program, the marks obtained in the first and second-year examinations will be considered, while in a 4-year degree program, the marks obtained in the first, second, and third-year examinations will be considered.
