IGNOU Placement cell was established in 2005 and since then the university has been successfully conducting placement drives and offering considering placements to students onboard. The Campus Placement Cell (CPC) is further trying to extend its base by introducing various new initiatives like soft skill development.
IGNOU placement rate is between 70% and 80%. The placement cell of IGNOU assists students and provide job opportunity in companies like Aegon Life Insurance, Aviva India, Reliance Life Insurance, Radical Minds, etc. The university has also witnessed a rise of 9000% in the number of shortlisted candidates between 2017 and 2019. The top roles for which IGNOU students are hired include Business Development Executive, Sales & Operations, Management Trainee and Associate Executive Sales.
