Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

Those candidates can apply whose family income is less than INR 4.5 Lakhs.

They are exempted from the payment of tuition fee.

SC/ST Scholarship

They get discount in mess charges up to INR 8,000 per semester.
They also get free lodging and INR 250 per month as a pocket allowance.

Financial Support for Ph.D. Scholars

Full-time scholars can avail the Half-Time Teaching/Research Assistantship (HTRA), which entails:

Committing 8 hours per week to teaching or research duties.
Assistantship renewal is contingent upon research performance.

Additionally, students have the option to seek scholarships such as UGC/CSIR-JRF, AICTE, ICMR, etc., with the fellowship amount determined in accordance with the funding institution’s regulations.
