Facilities at IIT Jodhpur

The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur has a sprawling campus on NH 65 that spans 852 acres. IIT Jodhpur provides students with a variety of facilities to ensure a positive academic experience as well as a comfortable campus life:

• Hostel: The hostel building includes state-of-the-art insulation to keep the temperature stable throughout the year. Each student is assigned a single occupancy room that is air-conditioned and partially furnished. The hostel has a 24 hour WiFi and LAN connection for improved connectivity. Each level has water coolers and hot water geysers, as well as laundry and housekeeping facilities. For your convenience, each hostel building features an elevator. TV, reading room, art and music room, carom, table tennis, indoor football, snooker, chess, badminton play area, gymnasiums, and other facilities Vehicle parking is also available to students at the hostel.
• Food: A specialised 3-story structure with an elevator for meals can accommodate and cater to up to 1000 pupils at once. The structure is entirely air-conditioned, and vegetarian and nonvegetarian dishes are served separately. There is also a separate food court with a wide variety of ala carte dishes.
• Health Care: On campus, there is an ISO-certified health centre that also offers OPD and ambulance services. The health centre is governed by a medical board comprised of experts from Government Medical College and AIIMS.
• Football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, and badminton courts are among the sports amenities available. National-level trainers teach students for intra and inter-college sports tournaments in each sport. There are also fully equipped gymnasiums on campus.
• Transport: The college provides daily bus transportation to and from the IIT Jodhpur campus and Jodhpur city for students.
