BTech from IIT Guwahati
The 4-year BTech programme at IIT Guwahati is the institute’s flagship programme. The programme has a capacity of 922 students and a student-to-faculty ratio of 17:1. MTech at IIT Guwahati is a two-year programme with 11 specialisations. The programme is available to five types of students. Applicants fall into the following categories: GATE score, GATE score without, Sponsored, Part-time, and Project Staff The admission requirements for each category differ. Applicants with GATE scores must meet the IIT Guwahati Cutoff set for the MTech programme. Candidates without a GATE score must have an IIT BTech degree with an 8.0 CGPA, 2 years of work experience, or be working on an IIT Guwahati Research and Development project.
