IIM Trichy Course Admissions 2024 for DPM
The Applicants who fulfill the following eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for the IIM Trichy DPM program.
Education:
To be eligible for the IIM Trichy DPM program, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Master’s degree, Postgraduate diploma, Integrated Master’s degree, or 4-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks, OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks and a professional qualification such as CA, ICWA, or CS, with at least 50% marks.
Qualifying Exam:
Candidates must have taken one of the following exams in the last 2 years to be considered for admission: CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC-JRF, or IIMB exam. Those who took the CLAT PG exam in 2020 or 2021 are also eligible. Applicants who have completed a PGDM from any IIM or PGPBM from IIM Trichy are exempt from taking the above-mentioned tests.

IIM Trichy DPM Selection Criteria: Stage 1
The candidates will be shortlisted in stage 1, based on their application i.e, the eligibility criteria and the information provided by the candidates.
IIM Trichy DPM Selection Criteria: Stage 2
Admission process for the IIM Trichy DPM program consists of two components: the Research Aptitude Examination and the Area Interview. Depending on their area of specialisation, candidates may need to appear for both or just one of these components.
The Research Aptitude Examination is designed to evaluate the candidate’s research aptitude in their chosen area of specialisation. The exam will include questions related to the specific field that the candidate has applied for.
All shortlisted candidates will need to attend the Area Interview. During this interview, candidates will meet with members or experts in their area of specialisation to discuss their research interests and goals.
IIM Trichy DPM Selection Criteria: Stage 3
After Stage 2, the shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo another interview with the Doctoral Program and Research Committee. Those who successfully pass this stage will receive an admission offer to join the DPM program at IIM Trichy.
To apply for the DPM program at IIM Trichy, interested candidates must apply online. They are allowed to apply for a maximum of 2 areas of specialisation. The application fee for the program is INR 1,000, but SC/ ST/ PwD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. However, candidates appearing for the IIMB test will have to pay an additional fee of INR 1,000.
Along with the application form, the candidates need to submit scanned copies of their academic mark sheet and certificates, qualifying examination scorecards, category certificates, and research proposals.
