IIM Trichy MBA Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to the MBA programmes at IIM Trichy, candidates must meet the following requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).

A valid CAT score, as appearing for the CAT examination is mandatory.
IIM Trichy MBA Selection Process
IIM Trichy shortlists applicants based on the Joint Admission Process (JAP) cutoff. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria are invited to appear for the Personal Interview (PI), which serves as the final stage of selection.
Applicants who selected IIM Trichy during CAT 2026 registration must also complete a separate registration for JAP 2026. The minimum eligibility criteria for JAP 2026 are outlined below:

IIM Trichy offers the PGPBM (Post Graduate Programme in Business Management), an MBA designed specifically for working professionals. The programme fee details are provided below:

IIM Trichy PGPBM Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to the PGPBM programme, candidates must meet the following requirements:

At least three years of full-time work experience, calculated as of the last date of submission of the online application form.
IIM Trichy PGPBM Selection Process
Eligible candidates are required to appear for a Written Test, which is generally conducted in April. However, applicants holding a valid CAT 2026 or GMAT score (GMAT taken between May 1, 2026, and March 24, 2027) are exempted from the Written Test.
The final selection for the PGPBM programme is based on the following weighted criteria:

IIM Trichy PhD Admission 2027
IIM Trichy offers a full-time PhD in Management across multiple research areas, including Business Law, Economics and Public Policy, Finance and Accounting, Information Systems and Analytics, Marketing, Operations Management, and other allied disciplines. The programme is designed to develop high-quality researchers and future academicians in management studies.
IIM Trichy PhD Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to the PhD programme, candidates must fulfil the following requirements:

A Master’s degree, Integrated Master’s programme, or a 2-year Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for reserved categories).

At least 60% marks in Graduation (55% for reserved categories) from a recognised university.

Candidates holding professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CS with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, along with a Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks, are also eligible.

Selection is based on performance in any one of the following examinations, followed by further evaluation:
