IIM Ranchi MBA/ MBA-HR/ MBA-BA Admission 2026

IIM Ranchi offers its flagship MBA programme across three specialisations: MBA (General Management), MBA (Human Resource Management), and MBA (Business Analytics). Admission to these programmes is based on a valid CAT score, followed by shortlisting through the Joint Admission Process (JAP) and a Personal Interview (PI).

For the 2026 admission cycle, the JAP cutoff for the General category for MBA admissions at IIM Ranchi is 90 percentile. From 2026 onwards, IIM Ranchi will participate in a Joint Admission Process along with IIM Raipur, IIM Trichy, and IIM Kashipur.

IIM Ranchi IPM Admission 2026

IIM Ranchi offers a five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for candidates who have completed Class 12 with at least 60% marks. Admission to the IPM programme is based on performance in IPMAT, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) and evaluation of the candidate’s academic profile.

An initial shortlist is prepared based solely on IPMAT 2026 scores conducted by IIM Indore.

II. Personal Interview (PI)

The PI process is conducted in offline mode across multiple cities including New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Ranchi.

III. Final Selection

A Consolidated Merit List (CML) is prepared based on the combined scores of the admission test, PI, and academic profile.
