Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi is one of the best management colleges in our country. Many management aspirants work hard to get admission in this institute. To secure a seat the candidates need to fulfil some IIM Ranchi admission criteria.
IIM Ranchi required a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. In the case of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/PWD category, the eligibility criterion is restrained to 45%. Students will be shortlisted on the basis of their GMAT/CAT scores and their previous academic educations.
Shortlisted candidates are informed for a round of personal interview (PI). Finally, they will be selected on the basis of their PI and GMAT/CAT marks. Candidates need to deliver IIM Ranchi PGDHRM eligibility and IIM Ranchi PGDM eligibility
Admission Highlights
- All the IIMs usually follow a two-step process of selection. First, short-listing on the basis of the Common Admission Test (CAT) result and after that Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
- Candidates who cleared the first stage of the admission criteria are informed for WAT and PI rounds.
- IIM Ranchi gives maximum weight to Personal Interview and CAT number for admissions. However, a topic like academic cut-offs, performance, experienced in relevant work, past academic etc. also play an important role in the final selection.
